Sharifova and Borrero beat Sara Pujals and Lara Arruabarrena 6-2 and 6-1 to put themselves into the main draw, which starts on Wednesday at the Martin Carpena on the Spanish southeast coast.
Patricia Martinez, Sharifova's former partner, and Xenia Clasca also made it out of qualifying, beating Carmen Castillon and Nuria Vivancos in their final by 7-6 6-2.
The third qualifying final consisted almost entirely of Italian players, Raquel Segura being the sole Spaniard as she and Carlotta Casali faced Giorgia Marchetti and Chiara Pappacena. In the only three-setter of the four finals, it would be Segura and Casali who won 7-5 5-7 6-4. They will play Mapi and Majo Sanchez Alayeto on Wednesday.
Finally, Lourdes Pascual and Lorena Alonso secured a ticket to the main draw as they beat Ainhoa Rico and Rebeca Lopez 6-3 6-2.
