The last event before a month-long summer break, the iconic Jose María Martín Carpena Arena will receive all of the best players in the world, as it has done for the past two seasons.
In total, 2023 is the sixth Malaga Open, not counting the neighbouring city of Marbella, which too is in the county of Malaga.
Local players Bea Gonzalez, Momo Gonzalez and Carolina Navarro were all present for the presentation event for the tournament, as was Malaga's mayor Francisco de la Torre, Andalucia Sports Councillor José María Arrabal, Malaga regional president Francisco Salado, and Arturo Bernal.
The main draw starts on Tuesday, July 25th at the Martin Carpena, which seats 9.000 fans and is expected to fill up.
