It was the first time playing in the semi-final at the Plaza Mayor for both Di Nenno and Stupaczuk their respective careers, and it will be their seventh final this season in World Padel Tour.
Sanz and Galan broke twice to win the opening set, but could not convert it into victory on Saturday, meaning Sanz will have to wait longer to make his first-ever final in an Open or Master, while Galan remains trophy-less in 2023.
After a ten-minute break between the second and third set due to the severe heat in Valladolid, Di Nenno and Stupaczuk started the third set 4-0 and never looked back as they will fight for their third title on Sunday.
