Coello and Tapia are now 45 matches unbeaten, having yet to lose in the 2023 World Padel Tour season as they have won nine titles already.
The eight-seeded Capra and Sanchez took the second set with their only break point in the ten games, but could not convert on any of the five they generated in the third set.
In Coello's hometown of Valladolid, he and Tapia lost only their seventh set of the entire season, and struggled to regain their form en route to the semi-finals at the Plaza Mayor.
