Sharifova and Velasco came back from a set down at the Steffl Arena, winning 2-6 6-2 7-6 to put themselves in the main draw.
Elsewhere, Spaniards Sara Ruiz and Agueda Perez managed to also make it out of qualifying, after losing in the final in Denmark a week ago. They beat Carlotta Casali and Marta Borrero with a double 6-4
Lara Arruabarrena and Alicia Blanco needed a comeback on Tuesday as well, emerging victorious 4-6 6-0 7-6 against Noemi Aguilar and Ariadna Cañellas, and finally, Emily Stellato and Giulia Sussarello beat Lorena Vano and Lorena Alonso 6-3 6-1 for the final ticket to the main draw.
