Chingotto and Navarro had a tough draw as they were up against Javi Rico and Javi Garrido at the PadelOne Arena in Tampere, both parties recharged from their summer breaks.
They split the first two sets, Rico and Garrido winning the second to force a decider, but the favourites managed to avoid an early exit just in time.
Later on, number ones Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia restarted their season against Gonzalo Rubio and Alejandro Arroyo, needing two sets to win their round of 32 match.
