Iglesias missed three tournaments after suffering an ankle injury in the Alicante Open 500, returning with a new partner in the French number one Collombon.
Their debut came against Carmen Goenaga and Malaga-born Marta Caparros, while eight-seed Virginia Riera and Tamara Icardo started off against qualifiers Sandra Bellver and Arantxa Soriano.
The five matches on courts 2 and 3 also featured Italians Giulia Sussarello and Emily Stellato, who found passage to the round of 16 against Alicia Blanco and Raquel Segura.
