Salazar and Triay advance to the La Rioja Open 2023 final at the spectacular Superdomo, marking their seventh consecutive final.
It is a big opportunity for the Spaniards to make up ground on number ones Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez, who fell earlier on Saturday to Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzalez.
It is the first time Salazar and Triay will face off against Ortega and Gonzalez in a final, although the two couples have met several times before in prior rounds.
