Di Nenno and Stupaczuk struggled to best the 18th-seeded couple in Bergamini and Ruiz, needing all three sets to book their place in the final at the Malmö Arena.
Ruiz was disputing his first-ever semi-final in a World Padel Tour Open or Master and Bergamini his second, but showed no signs of nerves as they took the Superpibes the distance.
However, Di Nenno and Stupaczuk advanced to their 12th final of the season as their fight for number one continues to stay alive.
