Salazar and Araujo handed the number ones their first semi-final exit since the Valladolid Master in Juni, which was also the last time Josemaria and Sanchez had been beaten in straight sets.
Having not made the semi-final since their debut in Finland, Araujo and Salazar will dispute their second final together on Sunday at the Malmö Arena, where the same opponents await in Delfi Brea and Bea Gonzalez.
Josemaria and Sanchez lose their streak of six consecutive final appearances, having won five titles during the streak.
