No wild card couple had ever reached as much as a quarter-final in World Padel Tour history. Libaak and Augsburger also became the youngest couple in the semi-finals at 17 and 18 respectively.
The Argentinians are still yet to drop a set in the tournament, Belluati and Lamperti forcing a tie-break but never taking the lead from there.
Libaak has also become the youngest finalist ever in World Padel Tour history at 17 years, seven months and three days old, breaking Marta Ortega's record that stood since 2014.
