Llaguno and Iglesias looked in big trouble halfway through the match, losing the first set comprehensively by 2-6 and going down a break in the second set as well.
However, the four-seed rallied and took the Atomic Twins to the tie-break, forcing the match to the third set.
In the decider, Iglesias and Llaguno managed to complete the comeback, advancing to their first-ever semi-finals together as they won 2-6 7-6 6-4.
