Located in the north of Argentina, La Rioja is home to the famous Super Domo, an impressive arena that can accommodate over 14.000 fans.
World Padel Tour already set the all-time attendance record in professional padel last season at the Estrella Damm Barcelona Master Final, with 12.141 fans at the Palau Sant Jordi. This record could be broken yet again.
Here is what the draws looks like for the La Rioja Open, with adjustments made after several players had to pull out injured from the tournament.
La Rioja Open 2023 Men's draw
For Open 1000 events, the men's draw no longer sees the top four seeds skip the round of 32 automatically. However, since so many injuries have occurred, the top seven seeds now all advance via walkover.
The injured players in question are Alejandro Galán (#1 seed), Pablo Lima (#7 seed), Alejandro Arroyo (#12 seed), Javi Rico (#19 seed) and Miguel Benitez (#26 seed).
As the registration period ended several weeks ago, all of the injured players' partners can not compete, meaning they too will sit out the tournament.

Women's draw La Rioja Open 2023
For the first time, the women's Circuit has travelled to Argentina too.
The only walkover comes from the injury to qualifier Emily Stellato which prevents the Italian from competing. This means five-seed Aranza Osoro and Lucia Sainz automatically advance to the round of 16.
