Salazar and Triay overcame a match point in the third set to Brea and Araujo, needing two tie-breaks in the first and third sets to overcome the eight-seed.
The Spaniards have now qualified for their eighth consecutive final, winning six of their previous seven. A win on Sunday would mean Ale and Gemma would retake number one spot in the ranking as Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez lost in the quarter-finals.
