WPT's broadcasting platform was first launched in November of 2021 and now has over 700.000 registered users as padel's worldwide growth continues.

The Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master, the first tournament of 2023, saw the two-seed win in both the men's and the women's Circuits - Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia beat Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan, while Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez beat Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay.

Hundreds of thousands of people tuned in throughout the week to witness how the event unfolded, breaking several long-standing viewership records.

WorldPadelTourTV viewership records broken

Throughout the week at the Bab Al Nojoum complex, 29 matches were broadcast on WorldPadelTourTV - one match on Tuesday was suspended - from the round of 32 to the two finals.

Over 1.500.000 views were accumulated during the live broadcasts from over 700.000 unique uses, both of which are record numbers.

The most-viewed match was the round of 16 encounter that saw Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan take on Miguel Yanguas and Alejandro Arroyo, which was seen live almost 200.000 times. Four different matches across the week were seen live over 100.000 times.

Additionally, that same match had a peak of over 35.000 live viewers, another record on WorldPadelTourTV.

All of these statistics serve as more milestones in the ever-growing environment that is World Padel Tour.

2023 will be the biggest and most international season ever in the competition's history, and will no doubt break many more records.
